Music is heard with the ears, understood with the heart.

It is my objective to help every student  to feel this as deeply as I do. I strive to help every student develop  to his or her greatest potential and to help them achieve a life-long love of  music.

CREDENTIALS
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano  performance from the University of Minnesota, have 45 years of teaching  experience, am a member of the Rochester Area Keyboard Club, am a  certified member of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association and a  nationally certified teacher of music (NCTM) through the Music Teachers  National Association. All of the programs and contests offered by these  organizations are available to my students but not required.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
I present two student recitals during the school year, one in January and one in May.
